Nockolds HR supports Hurst Point Group with the acquisition of Helm Godfrey

Kimberley Wallace, Senior HR Consultant, at Nockolds HR was instructed by Hurst Point Group to provide HR due diligence project support for their acquisition of the wealth management and corporate solutions practice Helm Godfrey.

Kimberley Wallace and Helen Burrowes, HR Consultant, from the Nockolds HR team worked as part of the acquisition advisory group, leading on HR due diligence matters and working closely with the Group’s acquisition project team throughout. Their transaction preparation activities included:

  • Employee liability information audit
  • HR documentation audit including policies and contract documents for employees and self-employed individuals
  • Strategic HR management / infrastructure review
  • Employment matter checks and advice
  • Summary report and advisory calls

The Group’s official press release detailing the acquisition can be found here. The transaction brings £1.5bn of assets under advice/management from Helm Godfrey to Hurst Point, which will bring the Group’s net assets under advice/management to approximately £8bn.
