Internal Promotions: Three New Principal Associates

Nockolds Solicitors is pleased to announce the expansion of its Principal Associate team, after three new promotions across the Bishop’s Stortford and London office. 

The firm takes great pride in the opportunities for development that it provides to its staff members. The Principal Associate application scheme is just one of many ways that employees are able to progress within the company. 

Sam Cook, Rachel Davis and Elena Nicolaou join the current team of seven Principal Associates who have each been recognised for their work internally, externally and their rapport with clients and other members of staff. 

Sam Cook, of the Dispute Resolution Team, joined the firm in 2016 from a leading regional firm in East Anglia. He has extensive experience in a variety of commercial and personal disputes and was previously listed in the Legal 500 directory as a ‘rising star’ in the field of commercial litigation. Sam is an active member of the Bishop’s Stortford Business Improvement District (BID) and frequently takes part in the Nockolds’ Charity Challenges. Find out more about Sam here »

Rachel Davis joined the firm in 2006 and works in the Employment Team. She specialises in all areas of employment law and provides advice to both employers and employees. Rachel qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) in 2017 and has previously been listed as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in the Legal 500 directory. She has been an integral part of supporting the firm’s internal culture, arranging several social events and taking part in all of the firm’s Charity Challenges. Find out more about Rachel here »

Elena Nicolaou has been a member of the Commercial Property Team in Bishop’s Stortford and London since 2016. She has over 29 years’ experience in the commercial property field and was recommended in the Legal 500 directory as having ‘notable expertise in regeneration projects’. Elena is a member of the firm’s Charity Committee and also heads up Nockolds’ Women in Business networking events, supporting the expansion of the event from Bishop’s Stortford to London.
