Megan is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Property team at Nockolds and excels in providing a full spectrum of commercial property expertise on large and medium-sized corporate transactions, working closely with our Corporate and Employment teams on both acquisitions and disposals.
Megan has led on the commercial property aspects of a number of share and asset purchase transactions, the most notable being a multi-million pound company acquisition by a prolific national franchisee involving assets including over 60 leasehold properties.
Megan has experience in acting for developers and landowners in relation to a variety of development matters including the acquisition and disposal of land for residential and commercial development, the granting of both short-term occupational tenancies and long investment leases of units within a development, as well as advising on infrastructure agreements and disposals by developers to statutory undertakers and utility companies. Megan regularly deals with overage agreements, conditional contracts, complex option agreements and the granting of easements, as well as undertaking a wide range of secured lending work, acting for both borrower and lender.
Additionally, Megan advises on general commercial property matters as well as dealing with all aspects of lease management for both landlords and tenants in the negotiation and granting of new leases and licences, the renewal and assignment of existing leases and in acquiring and disposing of freehold and leasehold commercial property.
