Employer Support for Brexit EU Settlement Scheme and Immigration Changes

EU Settlement Scheme

The UK is in a Brexit transition period until the end of 2020. EU workers (and their families) will need to apply for the Government’s EU Settlement Scheme before 31st June 2021.

Immigration Applications

From 1st January 2021, a new immigration system will be introduced for EU citizens moving to the UK and they will need to get a visa in advance. EU citizens applying for a skilled worker visa will need to show a job offer from an approved employer sponsor.
