Nockolds is delighted to announce the qualification of Abbie McDonald, Carissa Owens and Victoria Tchen, as Associate Solicitors with the firm.
Abbie, Carissa and Victoria joined Nockolds in 2023 as trainee solicitors and, over the past two years, have excelled in their training, gaining invaluable experience across a range of legal disciplines.
Abbie will be bringing her expertise to the Commercial Property team, supporting landlords, tenants, and developers.
Abbie commented: “I am delighted to have successfully completed my training contract with Nockolds. During this time, I was fortunate enough to gain experience across several departments, namely Employment, Wills and Probate, Family and, in particular, Commercial Property. I am grateful for all the invaluable support and guidance I have received throughout my training and am thankful to all my colleagues and friends across the firm. I am excited to take the next step in my career as an Associate Solicitor in the Commercial Property team and look forward to seeing where this journey takes me.”
Carissa has qualified into our Employment team, where she will advise both employers and employees on a variety of workplace issues.
Carissa commented: I’m proud to share that I have officially completed my training contract and have been admitted as a Solicitor! I’m incredibly grateful for the unwavering support, guidance, and mentorship I’ve received throughout this journey — especially from my fantastic supervisors and colleagues, whose insight and encouragement have been invaluable. I’m now excited to begin the next chapter of my career as an Associate Solicitor in the Employment Team, and I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and contribute in this new role.
Victoria has qualified into our Corporate and Commercial team and advises clients on a wide range of transactional and advisory matters. Her work includes company formations, corporate governance, shareholder agreements, articles of association, share buybacks, mergers and acquisitions, asset acquisitions and disposals and loan documentation.
Victoria commented: “I am delighted to have qualified as a solicitor following successful completion of my training contract at Nockolds. This milestone is the result of years of hard work, discipline and determination and is something I could have only dreamed of when I moved to the UK at the age of 10. I am grateful to the firm for allowing me to shape my training around my interests and to my supervisors and colleagues for their support throughout. I am excited to continue at Nockolds as an associate in the Company Commercial team. Of all the areas I trained in, this one felt the most natural and aligned with my strengths and interests.”
We are equally pleased to welcome our new trainee solicitors, Adrien, Justyna and Davina, who have begun their training contracts with us. Our trainee programme is designed to provide early responsibility, exposure to the firm’s business and clients, and a tailored training experience to ensure our trainees qualify as well-rounded solicitors.
- Adrien joined Nockolds in April 2025 and is currently in our Commercial Property team. Prior to joining Nockolds, Adrien gained valuable experience in a Residential Conveyancing team, where he advised clients and prepared documentation relating to the sale and purchase of residential, commercial and agricultural properties.
- Justyna has joined our Family team and will be assisting clients with a wide range of family law matters.
- Davina has joined our Dispute Resolution team, where she will be supporting colleagues across a variety of contentious matters.
We look forward to supporting both our newly qualified solicitors as they take this exciting next step in their careers, and our new trainees as they begin their journey with Nockolds.
