Tom joined Nockolds in 2021 and is an Associate in our Commercial and Property Litigation Team. Tom is based in London but works across both our London and Bishop’s Stortford offices.
Tom acts for individuals, private companies and large corporate entities in a wide range of commercial disputes. Tom frequently advises on matters relating to breach of contract, misrepresentation, consumer rights, debt recovery and corporate disputes. He also has experience dealing with contentious insolvency matters, including serving statutory demands and winding-up and bankruptcy petitions against debtors.
Having represented clients with small claims, through to six and seven figure claims in the County Court and High Court, Tom is well equipped to providing practical and commercial advice to clients, no matter the value of the dispute. He has experience dealing with urgent court applications, including injunctions and strike out applications but also frequently facilities settling disputes outside of court where possible, to the commercial benefit of his clients.
Whether you are facing a commercial dispute or a contentious claim, Tom combines clear, pragmatic advice, with a resolute determination to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients. This approach is coupled with a personable demeanour, meticulous attention to detail and his ability to understand his client’s objectives, making him a favoured solicitor by clients.
Tom can also undertake property litigation work, including boundary disputes and landlord and tenant matters. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association.
Tom trained with the firm and completed seats in the Family, Corporate Commercial, Commercial Property, and Commercial and Property Litigation Teams.
Before joining Nockolds, Tom graduated with a First-Class Honours in Law with Criminology from the University of Birmingham. He also achieved a Distinction on the LLM Legal Practice Course from BPP University.
