Jasmine Rudder

Associate

Jasmine joined Nockolds in 2021 and is an Associate in our Family Team working across our Bishop’s Stortford and London offices.

Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2023, Jasmine has developed experience in all aspects of family law, including divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, domestic violence and cohabitation disputes. She is frequently praised by clients for her empathy and strategic advice, as she understands the significant emotional impact that family disputes can have and works closely with clients to provide clear, practical guidance while remaining sensitive to their individual circumstances and experiences. Jasmine combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach, ensuring her clients feel supported and informed throughout their legal journey. She recognises there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach, and looks at each case individually, to ensure the right outcome for each client is reached.

Jasmine has also developed a growing niche in cases involving allegations of domestic abuse, including proceedings concerning protective injunctions, child arrangements, and the wider impact of abusive relationships on family court proceedings. Her experience has given her a strong understanding of the complex dynamics of abuse and the lasting effects that trauma can have. As a result, Jasmine recognises the importance of creating a supportive environment in which clients feel heard, empowered, and able to make informed decisions about their future.

Jasmine is recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500, reflecting her commitment to delivering high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service. She is also a member of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals dedicated to resolving disputes constructively and with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for families wherever possible. While always striving to resolve matters amicably, she is equally prepared to take a firm and determined stance when the circumstances require it.

Having strong connections to Hertfordshire while regularly working with clients in London, Jasmine combines high-quality legal advice with an approachable manner. She prides herself on building trusted relationships with her clients and helping them navigate some of life’s most challenging moments with clarity, confidence, and support.

Before joining Nockolds, Jasmine studied LLB Law with Honours at the University of Kent where she also received a Scholarship for Academic Excellence for 3 consecutive years. She then went on to achieve a Distinction on the LLM Legal Practice Course at BPP Holborn.

Alongside her practice, Jasmine also volunteers with Rights of Women, helping to provide free legal advice and support to women navigating complex family law issues. This work reflects her dedication to improving access to justice and supporting vulnerable individuals.
