Carissa joined Nockolds in 2023 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified as an Associate in the Employment Law team in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, she achieved a First-Class Honours degree in Law and completed her Legal Practice Course with distinction.
At Nockolds, Carissa advises both individuals and businesses on all areas of employment law. Her experience includes preparing and advising on employment-related documentation for businesses – such as contracts of employment, staff handbooks, policies, and settlement agreements. She also advises and negotiates settlement agreements on behalf of employees and supports clients through every stage of the employment relationship, from drafting claims or defences to preparing witness statements and negotiating settlements.
Carissa takes a collaborative approach with clients, taking the time to understand their circumstances and objectives to help identify the best way forward. In addition to her legal work, she is an active member of the Nockolds Charity Committee, contributing to initiatives and raising awareness for the firm’s chosen causes.
