Francesca Davy and Barbara Bitis join Nockolds from IBB Solicitors and Axiom Stone Solicitors respectively. Both are members of Resolution, the national organisation for family lawyers, as well as a number of other professional bodies.
Francesca specialises in family law relating to children, parental injunctions, financial support and safeguarding issues. She also has expertise advising on LGBT issues, including the rapidly changing body of law relating to transgender issues and the form of the new modern family. Francesca is adept with all aspects of relationship breakdown for married and unmarried couples including divorce, financial settlements, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation and separation disputes concerning property.
Barbara is a Polish national who was nominated for the Polish Choice of the Year Award 2017. Barbara is an active individual in both the Polish local and business communities with expertise in dealing with family breakdowns. Barbara deals with a wide variety of family law matters, including divorce and separation; civil partnerships; cohabitation; prenuptial agreements; financial settlement and a range of children issues. Barbara has significant experience in dealing with complex financial proceedings, many of which often have international aspect including dealing with complex assets structures, international asset-tracing, financial non-disclosure, cases involving third parties, maintenance regulations and overseas property. She also provide a valuable interface between Polish business clients and other teams within Nockolds.
