The ‘Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For’ award measures excellence across a number of workplace factors including leadership, employee wellbeing, pay and benefits as well as treatment of staff. The survey has been specifically developed to help employers better understand today's complex workplace issues and how they relate directly to their own organisation. Nockolds was commended on its option of staff being able to arrange their start and finish times around personal commitments. 88% of staff said ‘they love their jobs’ and Nockolds ranked highly in ‘Giving Something Back’, ‘Wellbeing’ and ‘My Company’. 99% of staff agreed the organisation has a strong social conscience and 99% of staff also said they feel proud to work for the organisation.
Managing Partner, Darren Hayward commented “Achieving a position in the top 100 for the third time is an amazing achievement. I am indebted to all of our staff for their efforts, hard work, loyalty and continued enthusiasm they show day in day out to make this Firm what it has become and I am extremely proud of the Firm. Without all of our staff, the Firm would simply not be as strong as it is right now.”
