Following the conclusion of the Principal Associate application process we are delighted to announce that as of 1 January 2017, Sarah Lockyer, Sarah Browne, Karen Chui and Jayne Kendrick-Jones have been appointed as Principal Associates of the Firm.
Sarah Lockyer has over 25 years' legal experience in advising a wide range of clients on Wills, inheritance tax planning, trusts, elderly client work and the administration of estates. Sarah has particular expertise in advising clients who run businesses. She has a Master in Business Administration specialising in family and small businesses and understands how to work with business owners to consider what would happen to their businesses if they were to die suddenly. Karen Chui is an experienced residential property solicitor with a varied background having previously practiced in commercial and agricultural property, personal injury and family law. Aside from dealing with transactions relating to freehold, leasehold, mortgages, adverse possession and transfers of equity she also has a special interest in unregistered land and easements. Jayne Kendrick-Jones deals with all aspects of client care and ensures that the firm is compliant with legal requirements and professional rules. Jayne was instrumental in the firm’s attainment of the Law Society’s Lexcel accreditation and its continuing award. She has also guided the firm through the Investors in People accreditation process, and she remains committed to continuously improving the business for both clients and staff.
