EmployAssist HR is a new HR consultancy that is supported by Nockolds’ Employment Lawyers*. The service will be launched on 1st June 2015 and will offer practical and effective human resources solutions to small and medium sized businesses. EmployAssist’s aim is to minimise legal liability and ensure that businesses have clear solutions to everyday HR issues.

In an era where it is essential to ensure that HR matters are dealt with swiftly, effectively and in compliance with the legal framework, EmployAssist’s HR service, which is supported by experienced employment solicitors, will provide businesses with the peace of mind needed to deal with HR issues which regularly arise. The service also benefits from CIPD accredited personnel.

What services does EmployAssist HR provide?

EmployAssist HR will offer an online resource portal supported by a 24/7 HR helpline to provide businesses with the resources, advice and support needed to deal with everyday HR issues. This helpline will assist in guiding employers when dealing with issues such as:

  • Misconduct and poor performance
  • Disciplinary matters
  • Sickness
  • Holidays
  • Maternity, shared parental leave and flexible working

EmployAssist HR’s Team will provide advice regarding an employer’s legal position and the practical management of a number of employment issues. The Team are able to assist with drafting relevant letters and guiding communication employees to ensure that the company’s position is protected.

The service will also include provision of a new employment contract and staff handbook (or a review of those currently in place) and immediate access to resources such as employment policies, forms and sample letters to save time and ensure businesses are meeting legal requirements.

Who may need this service?

EmployAssist’s HR services will primarily be suited to organisations that do not have designated HR personnel or have limited experience in HR management, or those who simply wish to assign their organisation’s HR function to a third party to free up management time and resources.

EmployAssist HR will also offer a more advanced package to employers who wish to avoid the time and administrative burden of dealing with HR matters. This package will include the provision of administrative support (such as holiday and sickness record management) and monthly on –site assistance, as well as presence at HR related meetings with employees.

How much does the service cost?

The service will be carried out on a low cost, fixed-fee basis, based on the number of employees within the organisation and the anticipated usage of the service. A thorough audit will be carried out at the outset to ensure that each organisation is provided with the right package to suit their needs.
