Changes to your Driving Licence

Mar 25, 2015

From the 8 June 2015 if you have a two part driving licence you need only retain the photo card. The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) are recommending that you destroy the paper part after this date. This is because after the 8 June the counterpart or paper part will no longer have any legal status. If you have never got round to applying for the two part licence and have the old paper licence hold onto this and do not destroy it.
