Nockolds Solicitors is proud to have supported the Stocking Pelham Parish Council campaign to purchase a defibrillator for the local community. The defibrillator has also been purchased in preparation for the busy farming period where the village sees an increase in agricultural workers.
The campaign has been well supported by the village with 37 of the 65 houses in the village making a contribution. The Council is currently raising funds to provide training to those who wish to receive it. The purchase of the defibrillator coincided with the recent Bishop’s Stortford Rugby Club incident where a member of the Bishop’s Stortford Rugby Club was saved by its members through the help of a defibrillator.
Pete Dodd, Partner at Nockolds commented ‘We are always keen to support the local community and by providing a donation to the Stocking Pelham Parish Council has enabled us to support not only the village but also the farming community which we are active within’.
