Cyclist Injured in Road Traffic Accident

Mar 08, 2017
Rachel Davis recently took over conduct of a case from other solicitors where a cyclist had suffered severe injuries when he was involved in a Road Traffic Accident whilst out cycling with his club. A vehicle turned right across his path and he was struck-head on. Our client suffered serious injuries to his knee, wrist and chest, aswell as a psychological injury. His injuries resulted in ongoing symptoms of pain and suffering which affected his ability to run his business. He was a keen cyclist and unfortunately his injuries prevented him from participating in this important hobby.

Liability was admitted but the medical evidence and the value of the claim was disputed.

Within 9 months of taking over conduct of the claim, Rachel had obtained updated medical evidence and was successful in reaching a very good settlement for the client which has given him the compensation that he deserves.
