Having worked in a niche Defendant Insurance firm in Central London for more than twenty years, Ivan left to join us in January 2010. He qualified as a solicitor in February 1998 having previously been a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, and has been involved in a number of high profile cases including Jolley v L B Sutton and Resource America v Platt Services. He was one of the lead solicitors in the EL Policy Trigger Litigation, and has been responsible for a wide variety of cases including Employer’s Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident Claims.

Ivan has always handled an extensive case load including disease, paraplegia, psychiatric injuries, stress at work and clinical negligence cases, and is often asked by his Insurer clients to consider policy coverage on issues including: Non disclosure, Misrepresentation and Policy interpretation. He has dealt with many disease cases including asbestosis, mesothelioma, VWF and hearing damage cases, and is often asked to advise on which insurance policy will cover the particular disease dependant on when the claimant was exposed and/ or when he developed the disease/injury.

Ivan has been an active member of his local drama society, The Cuffley Players for the past twelve years, where he has both directed and appeared in many plays. He also enjoys his sport, and is a member of North Enfield Cricket Club.
