Diana Smillie heads up the Commercial Litigation Team. Diana is a Partner of Nockolds LLP and is responsible for the health and safety issues and premises at the firm. Diana studied law at the University of Hertfordshire, joined Nockolds LLP in 1990 and became a partner in 1997. Diana worked in commerce before turning to law, having previously worked in London organising professional golf tournaments and working in public relations.
Diana specialises in all areas of commercial litigation including: agency, banking, breach of trust, boundary disputes, company and consumer law, constructive trusts, contractual disputes, debt actions, distribution agreements, domain name disputes, e-commerce, fraud, guarantees, housing, Inheritance Act claims and contested probate matters, injunctions, insurance claims, intellectual property, landlord and tenant actions, mediations, misrepresentation, negligence claims, partnerships, passing off, professional negligence, property disputes and switch-selling claims.
Married with two children, in her spare time Diana enjoys playing golf and bridge, gardening, cooking, painting and travel.
