Nockolds Solicitors is pleased to announce that Dan Hart, Solicitor Advocate in the Motoring, Crime and Regulatory department, recently passed the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) exams in National and International Road Haulage taken in May/June 2016.
The National and International Certificate of Professional Competence for Road Haulage has a wide ranging curriculum including law, business, finance, traffic regulations, safety loads, driver hours and international haulage arrangements. They are designed to test a candidate's knowledge and understanding of the road transport regulatory regime as it affects operators of road haulage vehicles. Current legislation obliges the holders of standard and international ‘O’Licences for freight operations to either hold, or have access to the services of someone who holds a Certificate of Professional Competence.
Pete Dodd, Partner in the Motoring, Crime and Regulatory department said: ‘The certificate is a respected qualification in the road transport industry and helps ensure that our Regulatory lawyers have a unique insight into the legal and practical burdens placed on transport managers.’ For more information and to find out how we can help you, please contact Dan Hart by email or call 01279 755777.
