The Nockolds Web Experience

The Nockolds LLP website has been designed & built to create a full accessible web environment compatible across all major browsers and devices, therefore making this site as usable as possible for people of all abilities.

All the text content of the Nockolds website has been created using web text meaning that the size of text can be scaled through the browser controls or by the [+] and [-] keys whilst holding down control (Windows) Command (Mac).

This site is written in valid XHTML 1.0 Strict and it's interface controlled by Cascading Style Sheets and Javascript, complying to W3C standards. The content is still legible without stylesheets, but does not look as well-designed. The site also conforms to WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) as advised by the World Wide Web Consortium.

In browsers where these features are not available alternatives are used to maintain site functionality, though visually that interface may not work. Where images are used to convey information, appropriate alternative text attributes have been provided for the benefit of visitors using assisted reading technologies.
