Profile Overview

Peter King leads the Wills, Probate, and Tax & Trusts Team. Peter graduated in Birmingham and qualified as a solicitor in 1990. A partner since 1995, he leads a highly experienced team of staff. Peter is a Member of the Law Society Private Client Section and of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Peter is a former Trustee of St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood after several years' service on the Trust Board, but he has continued to promote the work and raise the profile of the Hospice most recently in conjunction with a tax seminar programmed.

He is an enthusiastic hockey player and is Chairman of Old Loughtonians H.C. He is a keen sports fan and enjoys playing golf and watching cricket, football and rugby.

Peter specializes in all areas of Private Client practice including tax planning, the preparation of Wills and Trusts.

The Wills and Probate team support individuals providing tailored advice on areas surrounding inheritance tax planning, enduring powers of attorney, healthcare assessments, preparation of Wills and obtaining grants of probate.

Nockolds Solicitors has a strong Private Client Division expertly placed to support individuals on any legal matter that may arise throughout their lifetime. With professionals who can advise in areas such as family, resolving disputes, moving home, accidents and personal injury as well as Wills, probate and inheritance tax planning and healthcare assessments. The focus of the Teams is to work closely with clients on preventative steps avoiding the need for costly legal action. In the instance that legal action is required we aim to resolve legal matters quickly and efficiently for the benefit of the client.
