Profile Overview

Clare Moreton joined the firm in June 2006 as a solicitor. She graduated with a degree in law, and then completed the Legal Practice Course at Anglia Polytechnic University. She qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has since gained experience working in a top Legal 500 firm.

Her expertise is in all general private client work including:

  • Drafting Wills - She is able to do home/hospital visits for elderly or infirm clients
  • Inheritance tax planning
  • Court of Protection matters
  • Preparing and registering Powers of Attorney
  • Applications for Deputyship
  • Grants of Probate and dealing with administration of estate

Clare is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section and a qualified member of Solicitors For the Elderly (SFE). She is also a Student member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Clare was born in Norwich and raised in Romford. She spent time in London, Brighton and Weymouth before finally settling in Stebbing.

Clare has 3 children and is a member of her daughter’s PTA and a Guide Leader. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, and socialising with friends. She also enjoys long walks in the countryside with her two dogs, and watching films.
