Alfonso Valero heads up both the International and Sports sectors at Nockolds.
Having joined the firm in January 2007 as a qualified Abogado (Spanish Solicitor), Alfonso took his Qualified Lawyer Transfer Test and was accepted as a Solicitor on September 15th 2009. Alfonso specialises in Cross Border Dispute Resolution and Sports Law.
As a trained and qualified Spanish Lawyer, Alfonso is able to deal on any aspect of legal advice or legal representation in Spain from property disputes, property purchases, litigation and probate.
Alfonso is well versed in the developments within International Legal Matters and has written many articles on the subject. He has articles published, amongst others, in Daily Express, Law Society Gazette, East Anglian Times.
The International team enable Nockolds to support clients Internationally in matters such as Employment Law, Dispute Resolution, Residential and Commercial Property as well as Personal Injury, Wills and Family.
The focus of the Team is to work closely with clients on preventative steps avoiding the need for costly legal action. In the instance that legal action is required we aim to resolve legal matters quickly and efficiently for the benefit of the client.
Alfonso is well versed in the developments in Sports Law and in his spare time has launched and co-edits a specialist website www.lawinsport.com. Recently he has become a registered lawyer with the Football Association.
Alfonso has written many articles in specialised publications (Aranzadi Sports and Entertainment, Iusport.es, dd-el.com) and he is the Sports Law lecturer of Birbeck University, London. He is a regular speaker about sport law at different organisations and Co-Edits Lawinsport.com, a leading sports law publication.
This week Nockolds Solicitors received official confirmation that Alfonso Valero, Solicitor and Spanish Abogado, is ranked in the Global Chambers publication as a “Leading Practitioner” within two categories Dispute Resolution (UK and Spain) and Intellectual Property (UK and Spain).
Nockolds has been appointed as approved solicitors for AEHCOS - the Association of Hoteliers in Costa del Sol.
